Radical’s premier series in North America has confirmed Virginia International Raceway with Blancpain GT World Challenge America, April 25-28, as the first stop on the 2019 calendar. The announcement was coupled with the news the ultra-premium premixed cocktail maker Blue Marble Cocktails would continue its title sponsorship of the series.
“We’re delighted to announce the continuation of both Blue Marble Cocktails as title sponsor, and the World Challenge weekend at VIR as our first event,” commented Tom Drewer, Radical Sportscars North American Regional Manager.

That fun will commence on April 25, when the Radical Cup once again joins World Challenge at Virginia International Raceway for four days of non-stop action including a Thursday promotor test day.

The series features multi-class Le Mans style racing for a fraction of the price and has produced countless talents including 2017 PWC GTSA champion George Kurtz and 2017 European Le Mans Series LMP3 champion John Falb. Eligible cars include the Radical SR3– the world’s most popular sportsracer– as well as the 400 horsepower V8 engined SR8, and Radical’s 650 horsepower twin-turbo EcoBoost models. Three 40 minute races will ensure the Blue Marble Cocktails Radical Cup’s visit to VIR will be action-packed, for spectators and racers alike.
