To enhance guest experience and improve access, VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) will implement new traffic patterns and a revised lodging check-in location beginning November 2, 2025.

The former front gate will now be an EXIT ONLY point. All traffic entering onto Pine Tree Road will TURN RIGHT onto Raceplex Drive and follow updated directional signage to enter the property via the Staging Lot. The new Entry Gate location is ENTRANCE ONLY.

Lodging check-in is now located in building 1071 at Guest Services before going through the Entry Gate D2 (gate is indicated on the map below). Signage indicating hours and locations will be posted along the entry route.

These changes are part of VIR’s ongoing commitment to ensuring a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable experience for all visitors, teams, and staff members.

Visitors are asked to pay close attention to new signage and to follow all posted directions to enter the facility. VIR staff will be stationed at key entry points and registration areas to assist guests.

VIR will continue to share updates in the weeks ahead to help visitors prepare for the new procedures and plan their trips with confidence.
