Skip Barber Formula iRacing Series finalists to compete at Virginia International Raceway this week for real-world 2025 ride

Following five fierce weeks of racing in the 2024 Skip Barber Formula iRacing Series season, Brazil’s Victor Miranda closed out the championship with a fifth win to claim the title over Matt Caruana (United Kingdom) and Ivan Machado (Spain).

Over the summer, drivers competed against one another in iRacing’s Formula 4 car, through Time Attacks and races, for these prizes valued at more than $500,000, headlined by the opportunity to train and compete in the real-world Skip Barber Formula Race Series next year.

The top-three finishing drivers have received an invitation to partake in the Skip Barber Racing School program at Virginia International Raceway this week, which both Miranda and Machado accepted. Caruana was unable to attend due to other commitments, which allowed Matt Bussa (United States) to fill the role as the third entry.
