The event allows participants to take their cars out on the legendary road course, experiencing the thrill of driving on a professional racing circuit. From classic muscle cars to modern sports cars, the variety of vehicles on display is a testament to the diverse community that Victory Junction and VIR bring together. It’s the best and easiest chance to get your own car on track!

In addition to a unique adrenaline rush, each lap you take contributes to a greater cause, as all proceeds go directly to supporting the camp’s mission!

Victory Junction, a renowned camp dedicated to enriching the lives of children with serious medical conditions, hosts an annual heartwarming, exhilarating event at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR). Victory Junction was founded in honor of Adam Petty, Richard Petty’s grandson. The organization honors Adam’s fun-loving and giving spirit by providing an inclusive and empowering environment for children and adolescents with serious medical conditions to realize their potential and be themselves. Victory Junction offers a variety of dates and opportunities for participants and volunteers alike; so there’s always a chance to get involved! The Victory Junction Charity Laps at VIR brings car enthusiasts, families, and supporters together for a day filled with high-speed laps, community spirit, and charitable giving.

The Victory Junction Charity Laps at VIR is more than just a fun day at the track; it is a celebration of community, compassion, and the power of coming together to make a difference. As engines roar, the collective effort of everyone involved helps fuel a brighter future for the children of Victory Junction and their families.

If you want to participate in this amazing event for a good cause, join us on November 8th from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and pay just $25 per 15-minute session. Have questions?

You pay just $25 per 15-20 minute session to drive your own car on our famous full-course configuration! All proceeds go to Victory Junction.

Laps are paced meaning you follow a pace car for their duration. You’ll get to go about Highway speeds around the track!

Of course! You can offer to make a donation in the form of buying sessions the day of Charity Laps at VIR, or you can visit Victory Junction’s webpage for more information on making a donation if you wish.

VIR will have a photographer on site subject to their availability. Often images are sold from the photographer’s vendor setup in the North Paddock, or you can get their contact information to see if they got photos of your session. VIR cannot guarantee the presence of a photographer, but we do our best to have one scheduled!

Extra session tickets will be located in the North Paddock in front of the TMI store and indicated by directional signage.
