VIR is an ideal one-stop shop for Redkoch’s headquarters, with lodging, dining and other resort amenities onsite in addition to its ample facilities for tactical training. The track’s technical and high-speed driving circuits, multiple NRA-approved shooting ranges where they use different guns including a scope with long eye relief for better aim and others. Also off-road obstacle courses provide the perfect setting for real-world training to prepare for some of the tremendous challenges these service men and women face every day.

“The proximity to VIR’s outstanding onsite facilities made the Motorsport Technology Park an obvious choice for our new headquarters,” said Tim Rice, president and CEO of Redkoch. “We currently hold two five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity government contracts so it’s vital we provide the most dynamic, relevant and realistic training for these military and federal law enforcement agencies. Our location at VIR allows us to ensure we deliver effective and efficient training to these elite warriors at the greatest value to the government, and all with the convenience of being on property with our offices.”

The VIRginia Motorsport Technology Park serves as a major Mid-Atlantic hub for the motorsport industry, as well as others, and offers tenants a number of competitive advantages. Tenants and owners have access to free lunchtime testing privileges on numerous track configurations, onsite lodging, full-service dining and various team building activities. Current tenants include SOVA Motion and NTRC operated by VTTI, Sasco Sports, Krause & Associates, and the VIPER Engine and Drivetrain Lab.

“Redkoch has a notable reputation in tactical training and we are honored to have them call VIRginia Motorsport Technology Park home,” said Connie Nyholm, CEO and owner of VIR and VIRginia Motorsport Technology Park. “VIR has a long history of supporting service men and women, and there is no better way to continue that than sharing our amenities with those training to protect our communities and country. We look forward to working with Redkoch and its trainees to ensure the success of their experiences at VIR.”

The relationship comes on the heels of another VIR military announcement. Just in time for the Michelin GT Challenge, the track’s largest race of the year taking place during the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship weekend Aug. 26 to 28, VIR launched an ongoing ticket discount program in appreciation of those who have served. All active military members will now be admitted to all VIR spectator events free of charge and veterans will receive a 50 percent discount on tickets.

Available spaces at the VIRginia Motorsport Technology Park range from 1,200 to 20,000 square feet. For more information on leasing, call (434) 822-7700 ext. 109. For more information on VIR and to purchase event tickets, visit www.virnow.com or call (434) 822-TIKS.
