Camping
If you’re interested in camping for an event, a VIR Resort representative would be happy to talk to you about your options.
Camping at VIR is permitted during all spectator events and during club events where the club has made advance arrangements with VIR. Campers will be charged $35 per event for tents and $50 per event for RVs. Participants during club events that are not camping that require electricity during an event will be charged $25 per event (available on first-come, first-served basis).
VIR has 9 premium RV camping sites in the north paddock near the false grid (with water, sewer and electric hookups) and 8 in the south paddock with electricity and water. Rates for premium RV sites vary by weekend and the premium sites can be reserved in advance through the Lodging office — lodge@VIRnow.com
Credentials
Virginia International Raceway welcomes all members of the media to request credentials to any of its spectator race weekends during 2011.
To obtain credentials, please submit a request application by completing a Media Credential Request and see the Media Rules and Procedures.

Golf Carts
VIR has golf carts available either through direct rental (for most events) or through Golf Car Company (for Gold Cup).

Motorized Vehicle Policy
As part of our insurance requirements for 2012, VIR requires that all pit and other unlicensed off-road vehicles used at VIR maintain a valid VIR credential displayed on the vehicle and a registration agreement on file with the VIR office. In consideration for being permitted to utilize and operate a motorized off-road vehicle (i.e., golf cart, pit bike, ATV, etc.) on the VIR premises at any 2012 season event or activity, the vehicle owner and/or competition entrant must download and complete the 2012 Off-Road Vehicle Registration Agreement.
