SVRA SpeedTour and TransAM: Oct 3-6
Experience a weekend of blending the past and present while we celebrate VIR’s impressive history with VIR SpeedTour (formerly known as Gold Cup). Since 1957, VIR has hosted a multitude of diverse events that bring together all levels of motorsports enthusiasts. Enjoy the tracks’ naturally made contours featuring high-speed straights, blind crests, and a notorious tight right turn where the famous oak tree once stood. You will get to revel in the unique landscape while you watch pieces of history take each turn.
Charity Laps for Victory Junction: Nov 8
Join us for Charity Laps to benefit Victory Junction and have your chance to shine on the VIR Full course. Feel like a real racer as you hug the same curves and put tires to pavement on the same historic track as the pros. Victory Junction was the dream of Adam Petty, a fourth generation race car driver from the famous Petty family and Richard Petty's Grandson, and a rising star in the sport. Adam’s passion for racing was equaled only by his compassion for others, especially children. Pay just $25 for the opportunity to drive your own car on our 3.27 mile Full Course for 15 to 20 minutes. IMSA Michelin GT Challenge and VA is for Lovers Grand Prix: Aug 22-24, 2025
The IMSA WeatherTech Championship roars back to VIRginia International Raceway August 22nd to 24th, 2025. Feel the pulse-pounding power of nearly 600 HP trackside or from one of our VIP sections! Chow down at the Pagoda Grill, chill with top vendors at the Skid Pad, feed your need for speed at the kart track, and camp under the stars on our stunning 1300-acre site. Remember, kids 12 and under, parking, and active military get in free.

VIR offers special rates for children, veterans and active military members. Please note these tickets are not available in advance online or for phone orders. They may be requested and received upon arrival.
Children 12 and under are always free with a paying adult and there is no cost for parking. Enjoy on-site lodging, dining, shooting, and more to create your own unique experience with us!
All current military will be admitted free and veterans will receive a 50% discount to ALL VIR events. Just present a valid Government-issued military ID to registration when you arrive. This offer is not valid for private track rentals, including HyperFest.
