Held annually over Veterans Day / Remembrance Day weekend, the CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS returns to VIRginia International Raceway, November 6–8, 2026, for its second annual running. This expanded eight-hour endurance format motorsport event honors the service, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of military veterans.

 

Inspired by the original Race of Remembrance, founded by Mission Motorsport in the United Kingdom in 2013, this USAC-sanctioned event combines meaningful remembrance with genuine competition. At its heart is Operation Motorsport’s mission of supporting the recovery of medically retiring and retired service members by reconnecting them with identity, purpose, teamwork, and belonging through motorsport.

 

The 2026 weekend will feature an open test day on Friday, practice and qualifying on Saturday, and an eight-hour endurance race on Sunday featuring a diverse field of production-based race cars and prototypes. Super GP America will also join the weekend program, adding even more competition throughout the event.
