VIR has an exclusive relationship with Sunoco Race Fuels. Any Event that is bringing in a spec fuel that will no longer use VIR’s fuel will be subject to a fuel buyout fee. 

 

Licensee shall not bring any other fuels onto the Propertyfor sale without prior written permission from VIR. Licensee shall ensure that its Participants do not bring anything larger than empty 55 gallon drums or other fuel containers on the Property. These empty containers are only permitted if filled with fuel purchased at VIR. Participants are permitted to bring up to 20 gallons of fuel in acceptable containers to the Property without penalty. 

 

Credit cards are the only form of payment accepted at the fuel pumps in the North Paddock. For special Events where Sunoco is distributing fuel separately from the fuel pumps in the North Paddock, the only form of payment accepted will be by check. 

 

VIR will not enforce any restrictions, other than the 55-gallon drum requirement, against fuel grades that are not available on the Property. Bulk fuel may only be delivered to VIR with advance notice and stored at the fuel pump island.

 

The following Sunoco fuels are available at the North Paddock fuel island for credit card purchase only:

• 93-octane unleaded, which may contain up to 10% Ethanol.
• 98-octane (260 GTX) unleaded, which is Ethanol Free. For off-road and racing applications only.
• 100-octane unleaded, which may contain up to 10% Ethanol.
• 110-octane leaded, which is Ethanol Free. For off-road and racing applications only.
