SCCA Hoosier Tire Super Tour

Originally opened in 1957, VIR’s first official event was an SCCA race that attracted stars like Carroll Shelby, Carl Haas and Bob Holbert. SCCA Road Racing is divided into different levels and series to offer accessibility to best fit many resources and time commitments. Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour consists of 10 race weekends at 10 premier tracks across the United States. It is part of the U.S. Majors Tour with a Nationwide Points Championship and serves as a path to the SCCA National Championship Runoffs.
What Else is Happening?
Ten weekends make up the Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA® Super Tour (HST) in 2025, all of which are part of the Summit Racing Equipment SCCA Road Racing program. The April 5-6 gathering hosted by SCCA’s North Carolina Region at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) in Alton, VA, stamps the season’s midway point for those seeking Nationwide Point Championships.
